From time to time a landlord will change managing agent.  When the new agent receives the property file, one of the first things they do is write to the exisiting tenant to advise that they are the new managing agent.  A property manager can use this letter to advise the tenant of their contact information, a potential routine inspection, as confirmation of where they believe their rent is paid too and how to pay their future rent.
