Hi everyone, just wanting some feedback on national tenancy history database regarding websites you are registered with and details of the good & bad aspects.

Thanks Linda

Hi Linda,

I think many agencies in Vicotria Subscribe to Ntd ???.

I would recommend using the service that most in your area does, so that when a tenant is listed they actually show up on your report.

Maybee call the other agencies and ask which one they are using.

Hi Megan, thanks for the feedback. I am familiar with TICA, however, they have become quite expensive to join up. We are a new agency with no rent roll. They have given me the option of paying casual rates which is helpful as this early stage.

I will look into NTD maybe and contact the other agencies as you suggested.

Thanks

Linda

Hi,

We use TICA in our office and it is quite useful. We also use Fasttrack, which is a database through Barclays MiS, a debt collecting agency we use (who are excellent if anyone was interested to know) who show tenants who have been through the CTTT (i think).

Its worth noting, however, that I believe the Fasttrack datatbase is quite small as it is only a relatively new creation.

Hi Jess,

Thanks for the feedback. I will look into the other ones you suggest.

Megan suggestion about finding out what the others in town subscribe to is a good idea. We have some interesting residence in the area, plus a correctional facilities near by. Therefore I really need and want to be careful.

Thanks

Linda

I am in Brisbane and we use TICA. It is quite easy to use and reports are accurate. Never had a complaint…yet….
