Hi everyone, I am looking to purchase a new camera for work and was wondering: *what people are using *what you have used in the past and liked/not liked I have a budget up to $500 Thanks :) |

Hi Patrick, If you are using an iphone I am a fan of the HDR Foto app which really boosts the quality of the iphone camera. But it does take longer if you are taking a lot of photos. I have found that a camera that allows you to focus manually benefeicial. This allows you to get more detail on things like windows and fly screens which can get a bit washed out when an auto focus is used. This may put you over budget a bit, but I wouldn’t shy away from buying something from the US online :) |

Make sure you get a wide angle lense, which assists with internal shots. There are quite a few available under $500. A good camera store should be able to help. If you buy off shore, you will not get a warranty, which I think is a good idea, as well as keeping our money in Australia |
