I am just wondering if any property managers are using Ipads for routines inspections and daily tasks
If so how has this changed your work load? and would you recommend using them |

I have spoken to Console to find out if they have any intentions of creating an App like Console Gateway Mobile for iPhone/iPads and unfortunately it doesn’t look like its going to happen any time soon. Which is disappointing as the iPad is the perfect size for completing routine inspection reports and logging maintenance requests. Hopefully with Apple’s announcement last week loosen the restriction on application design for iPads this will allow for faster development of tools for the real estate industry. |

I had just got my PM team new iPhone 4 and rang console on Tuesday….sounds like different stories depending on who you talk to. Hopefully you are right and they get a move on with an ap that links with gateway…would be graet if you could sync sent txt messages from your iphone to console contact history to record when you sent tenants reminder notices for their rent! |

a good app to try for the Iphone is (talk to email) you can record yourself and then send it as a file to yourself or a owner great for reminding yourself and making notes when you are out of the office |

Hi Anthony & Russell – our iPhone app has been developed exactly as you have described. In the first instance it manages the routine inspection process and reduces administration time but when our broader system is release, the iPhone app is integrated, so effectively you are driving the system from your iPhone.
