Good Afternoon All, Have been thinking a lot lately (as I am sure many of us have) about social media and how to use it in our businesses. For example – Facebook – started as a social networking site with more and more businesses starting pages. What I would like to know is “Who is using Social Media? Twitter? Facebook? etc”, “What are you doing on these sites?” and “How effective has it been for your business?” I understand that a lot of it would be used for the business as a whole or very sales orientated but would love to hear from people who are focusing more on their Property Management. Thanks. |

Joanne, I use facebook. To me it is worth its weight in gold! To view the properties I upload, users have to be my “friend” I then get to access their pages and can get a very clear indication very quickly on what they are like as people. I have had some type on thier pages information about being evicted. Information on how they hate the cops as they were busted for drugs again. Information as to why they are moving. I have issued breaches as some are silly enough to post pics of their pets inside on facebook.
