Just had someone call up and report that a dog a one of the properties we manage has hung itself. Had to make the call to the dogs owner and let them know the dog was dead. Great way to start the week!

Maybe if the owner had seen the signs earlier and the dog could have had some coucilling or something?

Wow, i had a similar thing last week. Dog commitied suicied by electrocution (chewed through wires on Bio cycle system). Just goes to show its not just us humans feeling the pressure in these hard times.

Oh dear! Sounds like the chrissy season is hitting everyone hard.

Sorry guys, but I’d rather find the family pet like this than my tenant though. I’ve heard some horror stories!

That is so sad :( I would be crying my eyes out if I found something like this.

Yea Sarah, three of those in my time. One chap over Christmas, found him in the unit on 2nd January, boss rang and said he didn’t turn up for work. Hard part was the Landlord wanting rent until lease end..!!

Sometimes we think we’ve got it bad…

Ouch, I’ve had a tenant die after I gave him notice of entry for a routine and then found out that he wasn’t around to recieve it. Landlord had a complete meltdown because we couldn’t go through for the routine as planned and wanted to storm through while the family was sorting out his possessions and cleaning up for him. Family did all the right things until their solicitor got it into their head that I had to refund the entire bond to them despite the owing rent and large damages to the property…… Fun :).

You’re right though, even on our worst days it could always be worse!
