We have purchased iPad 2’s for all of our Property Managers and are now wanting to download an app for our entry, exit and routine inspections. I have reviewed a number of app’s but they all seem to be very basic, not very detailed and or professional. I am currently considering Pocket Reporter Pro. Does anyone use the Pocket Reporter Pro and what is your opinion on it? What other app’s are property managers using? Do you believe that this system for reporting is saving you time now and or in the future? |

Hi Lorelle, apmasphere has a free application available for completing routine inspections!! here This is designed for iPhones but also works fantastically on the iPad 2. We have had huge success with this and have agencies all over the world downloading it. Last december Field Agent was recorded as completing 14,000 inspections… very COOL We are currently in our beta testing stages of our Field Agent 2 application which will also cover ingoing and outgoing inspections. I will email you some more information directly about this and perhaps your team can join and contribute to our testing team. If anyone else is having success with using some other app’s available within the industry feel free to pass on your advise to Lorelle. It really is becoming a great time to be involved with PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. |

Is anyone currently using a mobile inspection application or system that isn’t specified for their actual state?

We’re currently using Pocket Reporter Lite for periodics and have been for about 6 months. The team love it and so do our owners. Havnt tried PRPro yet. Havnt yet convinced the boss its worth it. Does it save time? Absolutely. Email the completed report to yourself to store in the properties computer file and forward a copy to the owner. Im trying to find an app for noting rental appraisals in the field. Not so much a calculator like RP Lister but something like an inspection app that can generate a report of the property details. |

Our office uses “Smart Agent” app for Condition Reports which is really awesome because again goes room by room, you can use it on ipad or iphone and send it direct to your email. We also use “Feild Agent” for our routine inspections which is great as most of our landlords can see the photos of the property and can be emailed directly to them. We are about to have Console Connect’s “Live Agent” set up soon, which will sync automatically with Console which is even better because everything will be accessible on our database |
