Hi Guys,

I have been on the net trying to find the link for the form to send back money to treasury that has been sitting in our accounts for some time.  I have many cheques that have been sitting there and not cashed as well.
Can anyone help?

Hi Kylie,

Does this help?

http://www.osr.nsw.gov.au/benefits/ucm/lodge/

Here in QLD we lodge with the Public Trustee; from what I understand you would lodge with the office of state revenue.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Margreta, but I dont think this is the right one for Trust accounts.  Trust account money has to be sent back after 2 years.

Hi Kylie,

This link may help you from Fair Trading. The form to fill out and send off to Fair Trading is linked under the Unclaimed Trust Monies section

http://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/Property_agen…

It’s handy to have this form located somewhere within easy reach so that you can lodge this money in January each year for the previous 2 years.

Hope this helps :)
