We want to make the property investment journey an empowering experience for those who manage properties, those that invest in real estate, and those that call rental properties home..
Our team is made up of property managers, business owners, property owners, property investors and, of course, people who live in rented properties. We all have different experiences, perspectives and skillsets and we each bring different things to the table.
The thing that unites us all are a commitment to making the whole process better for everyone. We want management businesses to be more profitable and more valuable. We want those that work in those businesses to have better career opportunities. We want people to be more confident in investing in real estate. We want tenants to have a home and feel at home. We want those that live in their own properties to get access to great services too.
Our business is all about making this a reality. The Halo platform is the main vehicle for that but we also offer consulting services and professional development programs for the industry to help them meet the challenges of the future. We make a lot of our ideas and resources available for the industry because we believe that a strong management industry is part of any solution for all stakeholders.
In all of the things are we doing we are guided by some core values. These are always front of mind.
We think that everyone – whether a landlord, business owner, team member or tenant – has a right to understand what’s going on. We also apply that to ourselves. There is no future in hiding things or being tricky.
There are plenty of people that want to do better. Life’s too short to work with lemons. We are making a big investment in the future of our industry and not everyone will agree with our vision. We only work with the peaches in our industry.
There is so much value in data. We have a range of modules that help our clients make more use of their data – measurement, alerts, building relationships and making money. No matter what the context, you own your data. When in doubt, see rule 1.
The industry doesn’t need another killer app. There are some great ones and we aren’t looking to compete with them. The most value we can bring is to focus on the core dynamics of our industry and address the issues. It’s a big jigsaw puzzle, so start with the corner pieces.
